I was perusing the internet for pictures of James Beard's kitchen, did a shoot there years ago with Ultimate Kitchens and loved the map covered walls. Anyhooo..., thought that idea might work on the set I am currently designing for a Food Network pilot.
James Beard had such flair.
Amazing what pops up when you search 'Beard" on those internets.

If you are a guy having trouble sprouting your stuff

Who knows,
if you work really hard at it

So with or without facial hair,
make your day something special...
with a twist and some flair!

Those are some weird beards!
You've got me laughing! What pilot is it? My sister in law who is a professional pastry chef has several times pitched a dessert show to no avail. She also received a James B. award.
You just don't see enough mustaches with a flowers on the end. Somebody needs to bring this trend back. ;-)
What, no women?
So funny! Thank you for your comment- the shoes were vintage and the label was VERY rubbed off, but it would be quite cool if they were Pappagallos.
hey there (: thanks for your comment! ooo how I love facial hair. For some reason people with facial hair always seem to be the most fun. (:
Hello Abby,
Thanks for visiting my blog. As a bearded gentleman (though no threat to these creations!) I appreciated this post. And I love the fake beards, very biblical and great for a school nativity!
Also enjoyed the photos of your morning garden - lovely. And I'm jealous that you will be able to eat dinner al fresco from now until November??!! There's no justice!
Good morning Abby :)
Those beards are too funny! It's amazing what comes up with different searches, isn't it? LOL
