I have danced my butt off to Michael Jackson for as long as I can remember. I had a huge crush on him when I was 5 years old, glued to the TV watching him belt it out. I could never understand how my peers could prefer Donny Osmond. Come On! This kid had soul.

I was shocked when I heard the news, yesterday. The death of Farrah Fawcett was somewhat expected because of her illness, but I don't think Michael had been sick in any way. He certainly left his stamp on music and pop culture during his lifetime. May he, too, rest in peace.
It was a crazy day yesterday.
