I also get all reminiscent when it rains on Mondays and start singing The Carpenters, CLICK ON LINK, my mother was a big fan and I could see why...,with all that buttery Holly Hobby dressiness and lip-sync'd innocence. What's not to love? Perhaps Rainy Days and Saturdays?
Actually I love rainy days, means the planties are getting plenty of water-maybe too much these days....and this Monday made me happy because I am working with a crew composed of some of my favorite people on the planet and can't wait to play with them and food all day.
Mondays always feel like a fresh start too. Great time to embark on a crafty project, exercise program or sign up to volunteer!

As a kid, I loved the Carpenters' music. Not so much anymore. However, there is something about that phrase "Rainy days 'n Mondays". I've noticed alot of people wear black or dark colors on rainy days, I try and wear a bright color to lighten things up abit. I even have a bright color umbrella and raincoat.
And I agree, all this rain is starting to make my plants waterlogged.
My mom was a big Carpenter's fan, too. She has a great singing voice and I can remember my dad recording her singing "Rainy Days" on the cassette recorder when I was a kid.
Was never a big fan of the Carpenters and have no earthly idea why... everybody loved them!
Personally I love rainy days; give me a rainy day and a good book.
Carpenters win over Richard Simmons any rainy day!
Oh my God, this photo is too hilarious! I love rainy days too. I'm not sure why but I always have. That's why you'll never hear me complain about the weather here in Seattle.
Rainy days are good days. (except for the dog)
