Sad Eyes

I have been working a lot lately, and after the slowest 6 months in my career it is a nice change to be busy again. Good for me. Bad for Cheddar.
He is not happy. Some mornings he will not even make eye contact with me, like I didn't feel guilty enough!

It must break your heart when you leave, but just know he makes himself comfortable and sleeps, looks out the window, and sleeps some more...until you get home.

What a beautiful dog. From the headshot, he looks a lot like our beloved dog Molly who died a few years ago. She was good with the guilty looks when she wasn't getting the attention she wanted, too.

What a sweetie. I feel so guilty when we leave our dogs for vacations that I almost don't even want to take them anymore. Almost. ;) Oh, and I love his name.

Oh, that sad puppy look that Lily gives me when she sees me grabbing my handbag makes me feel like a heartless beast. It is so hard to walk out the door and leave her behind. I feel for you!

The best, and only part of leaving dogs home alone, is the reception you get when you retunr, whether it be from a two week vacation or a trip up the drive for the mail! Man's best friend is right :@{
