More Boots than Carrie Bradshaw?

Well maybe not..but what girl doesn't love a new pair of winter boots?
So many options:
High Heeled?
Riding Boots?
Black Leather?
Brown Suede?
Fashion?
Function?

My favorite boot this year is the wee kind.
The warm kind.

Boots I purchased to shoe needy kids
via the Operation Santa Bronx project.

I've never gotten this kind of high
from buying Prada, Gucci or Manolo.

These are the best boots ever.

I am walking tall knowing that my gifts will make some kid smile in a couple weeks,
and keep their tootsies warm for months to come!

If you live locally, please fill a pair of charitable shoes and make some dreams come true as a secret santa for Operation Santa 2010.
Never too early to sign up!!!
I plan on shopping right after Christmas to buy items on super sale for next years kids,
come on,
it's what the season is all about!

Hip Hip Hooray....I LOVE this...

Out here in California I paricipate in Coats for Kids....if I get a girls name I always wrap up a little box..usually jewlery...and put it in the pocket as a secret surprise...if a boy..some kind of toy..a little truck or something.

Yep..I agree..it's what the holidays are all about...A couple of weeks ago Buddy and I drove to The Salvation Army and donated boxes of Christmas lights. We noticed they had some Christmas trees they were giving away in the parking lot...thought some lights would be appriciated too...

On the Cheddar Cheese front....I don't know what happened to him..He was here one day...all day...we fed him..I put on Advantage...poor little guy was covered with fleas..though for sure he would stay around..but he is gone..haven't seen him anymore...and I'm sad about it.He was a cute little guy..I'll keep watching.....

More later,
Kary and Budy

Abby - I already sent my box into Operation Bronx. It was fun, yet I took my responsibility very seriously. Now, onto the Angel tree. Thank you for letting me know about Op. Bronx.

MFK I love the idea of hiding stuff in the pockets.
I think I'll do that with the Pez dispensers.

PF You are awesome!!! I remember the hospice angel tree that my mom's star hung on. That was magical.

Happy Holidays everyone!
Sending joy and love your way.

What a great idea, donating shoes, coats, toys, money, food - whatever! It really does reinforce what the true spirit of the season is all about.
