Perfect Prelude to Valentine's Day

It was a chilly morning here at Boulder Lodge

even the icicles were trying to get inside

for some of this soup

Leek & Potato Soup

with all the accoutrements:

fried shallot slivers, homemade croutons,

cream and chopped chives.

Jeff liked it so much he suggested I write my own cookbook.

I know who would prop and illustrate it!
