I had the supreme honor of being with my father in law when he passed away
a few days ago.
The world lost a wonderful gentleman.
Such a kind and caring soul
Always brightening the world
with his big, warm grin
I know he's up there,
smiling down on all of us.
how fortunate am I to be married to the acorn that fell off that tree?

He was an inspiration
57 years with his lovely wife
my fabulous mother in law
his progeny lives on
his adventurous spirit too
in all of us

I love the wonderful spirit in which you wrote and surely must feel! I am sorry for you loosing this treasure of a father in law, but as you said, he lives in all of you!
